COVID-19 Business Continuity

Business continuity management is well under way in most organisations in light of the global precautions taking place in attempts to reduce the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19)

eCom Scotland has activated our contingency plans for home or remote working. In previous years this has been instigated due to bad weather and there was little or no disruption to our usual working practices or high level of service.

We are confident these plans will have no impact on our ability to support our customers.

The following is a list of steps we have taken to ensure business continuity.

  • Mainline phone numbers have been redirected - please use your usual contact information for us
  • Access can be made available to eCom’s Microsoft Teams to support project continuity (where required)
  • For any meetings, the eCom team will contact all attendees in advance to arrange a virtual meeting and will explain the preventative measures we have in place at this time.

Our team is also available to discuss your requirements in ensuring your business continues to operate during any escalation of the COVID-19 virus.

We continue to closely monitor all development and follow the guidance of the World Health Organisation (WHO), NHS Scotland and the Government to ensure that we can limit any possible impact of the virus.

Kind regards,
The eCom Team
