Scottish Joint Industry Board
Secure and Accessible Online Assessment Tool for Apprentice Electricians
This secure and easily accessible online solution for assessment, has full reporting capability and visibility of a clear audit trail.
The Scottish Joint Industry Board (SJIB) founded in 1969 is the awarding body responsible for developing and delivering high quality training and end-point assessments for apprentice electricians. This apprenticeship aims to meet the needs of the industry whilst regulating entry and professionalism of the industry.
SJIB apprenticeships culminate in the Final Integrated Competence Assessment (FICA), a 2-day observational assessment undertaken by all apprentices. Due to the observational nature of the assessment, the Board required a responsive, accessible online tool and to ensure it appealed to all users, the solution needed to be easy to use and secure.
